    The easiest way to describe the Dungeonmaster/Player roles in a game of D&D is basically:

    Imagine Lord of the Rings. A player is someone who controls one character in the Fellowship. The Dungeonmaster controls EVERYTHING ELSE in Middle-Earth. Monsters, towns people, the terrain itself, all of it.

    Also, fuck you Ryan, the Thrawn Trilogy is awesome.
