Great episode! This subject really hit a cord with me, because for the first 19 years of my life; I could not smell. Due to severe allergies persistant year-round, I went undiagnosed and unmedicated for 19 years. And when you have a severe cold, food has no taste nor can you smell. So I just went through life like that! Eating things not on taste but on texture, and the only thing I could smell was essence of skunk or anything really chemically (burny smell). So even long after I was finally able to know the sweet smell of a rose or fresh-baked bread, my favorite smell will always be skunk.
Keep up the great work guys!
