The Geekbox: Episode 98

Short and sweet for this quiet post-Christmas week. God of Shamisen bass player and all-around cool guy Mark Thornton pinch-hits for our vacationing regulars; be sure to check out the band’s new album “Smoke Monster Attack” if you dug their last Geekbox appearance. See you in 2011, with Andrew Fitch and Greg Ford back in their old seats for episode 99!

Oh my god, Mark Thornton is the best guest you’ve ever had on the show. I don’t know if it’s an intense maturity, but he’s able to converse with you guys without getting sucked down rabbit holes, or dominating the conversation.

More of him, less randoms off the street please.

Can’t wait for the awards show. Pretty awesome idea.

Also – Fitch doesn’t have a brother – he left the show to sort out his multiple personality disorder. The Fitch is too awesome to be contained in one genotype.

  3. Chris says:

Here Ryan, Japanese people appreciating 50’s Americana.

  4. Ian says:

    John Wayne is ridiculous.
