The Geekbox: Episode 64

This week’s mercifully Lost-free episode (well, mostly Lost-free, anyway) almost wound up Karen-free too, thanks to Caltrain, the San Francisco Bay Area’s horrible mass transit system. Glad it didn’t derail us too much. Ah ha ha! I am such a merry jokester. Anyway, enjoy the episode.

“I’m Karen Chu and I hate things – except when I like similar things, in which case they’re awesome.”

  2. Jack says:

That episode of Doctor Who was not written or directed by the series supervisor, Steven Moffat, so it was pretty poor.

Also, did Ryan say “The Lancer”? Has he been on TVTropes too long?

I enjoyed that episode of Doctor Who. I like the fact that the Daleks keep showing up, since the Doctor was forced to destroy his own species while his greatest enemies keep finding a way to survive, adds a sort of Nihilistic view to the series.

As for the technicolor “iDaleks”, while they did look kind of silly they didn’t really bother me. This is Doctor Who, after all, it’s suppose to be a little silly.

    Also Dr. Who is shit.

  7. Max says:

The guy from avatar is supposed to be the chosen one so of course he can walk right away, they even make a point out of showing that walking right of the bat is very unusual.
