Thanks, lemon-fresh!

I wouldn't watch it even if it was historically accurate. It has Tom Cruise in it.
You know, prejudice like that is unbecoming of you. I came *this* close to not watching The Town, because I hate Ben Affleck more than you probably hate Tom Cruise. But that turned out to be a halfway decent film.jinpei05 wrote:I wouldn't watch it even if it was historically accurate. It has Tom Cruise in it.
Samurai Jack has some very interesting (and at times even pretty) artwork and a cool scifi premise, but you're nuts if you believe that something like this is remotely authentic.jinpei05 wrote:Um, actually, if you watched the commentary on the box set DVDs, you'd see they went to great lengths to preserve the authenticity of the martial arts and cultural backgrounds associated with them.

Seriously, Tom Cruise is so much of a nutbag, it retroactively makes me hate his older films. The only one I don't completely hate is Jerry McGuire, and that's only because of Cuba Gooding, Jr.

Ditto.
Mine sits on the ground, far removed from my entertainment stand. In all honesty, it's better that way - it keeps it cooler being in the open like that.LiQuid wrote:I don't have any more room on my entertainment stand.

What is all this about the theatrical versions? Didn't Lucas release those on DVD? I remember hearing something about them being the laserdisc version, and the quality kind of sucked, but are the laserdisc versions different from the theatrical versions?
