I honestly don't know if I can keep watching this show. First Jesse showed up and starting stinking the fuck out of it, now this Kendra chick they kidnapped... That lady that plays her is honest to god, one of the worst actresses I've ever seen in a professional television production. Every time she talks I want to turn the show off.

How could you possibly think that? She's fucking horrible. I've seen better acting in porn.

Because when I initially ragged on her, this is the only responce I got:

Holy crap, what a bad episode this week. Between Jesse admitting his feelings for Fiona and the Hyundai commercial toward the end of the episode... I'd say this is a pretty good candidate for 'episode that jumped the shark'. And the 'book cypher'? Series defining moment right there, where the show stopped being something somewhat believable/plausible, and started being something stupid from James Bond. And the alcohol in the light bulb? Probably the first spy-tip that I didn't buy. There are either a vacuum or inert gases inside light bulbs because otherwise the filament burns out instantly and it doesn't serve their purpose. I'm hoping this was just an off episode.

And Fiona tried to act sexy again. You forgot that. The next episode better be awesome to make up for last week.

Another okay, but not great episode. I can't help but be drawn to the flaws in the show now.

For example: Sam at one point in the episode starts threatening to shoot some guy's classic cars. He's got a big-ass shotgun and he's pointing it at a car... at point blank range. No. Shotgun shots create shrapnel. Nobody shoots shit at point blank unless they want chunks blowing back and hitting them. If they're psychotic and shooting people, then it might not be a big deal to them. But if they're rational, trained soldiers, they're gonna care about little bits of metal flying into their eyes, and know better than to stand right next to the thing.

I was going to rush to the shows defense and say maybe Sam was bluffing... but the bad guy was an arms dealer so that wouldn't make any sense.

I remember very little about last weeks episode except for the boom scene in the apartment. I really liked that. I could have done without the "nice guy acting like a stone cold hitman" thing though.

That and, they shot one of the other cars a few seconds earlier from a safe, reasonable distance. It's not like it was a bluff at all; if they had to shoot more cars, they were ready and willing to do it... they just apparently weren't thinking about gun safety 101.

Good episode this week. I feel a lot better about where the show is going. Maybe it's just because I like Simon so much. I would be down for Simon becoming the new help, replacing Jesse. The prison break plot line was pretty bad ass, and it was kind of refreshing to see Michael visibly jarred and scared for once.

Also, Fiona was unusually disgusting this episode. It was like the scene in Austin Powers 3 where Frau and Dr. Evil make out in the jail, only somehow even more gross.

I like when Weston is in some serious danger, and thoroughly enjoyed this episode.

I agree. Could have something to do with her in pig tails, and/or possibly her "southern" accent.

I mean, I know the show was going for "pretend to be yokel-trailer-trash!" but... good lord was that a disturbing scene. I have been less disturbed by seeing real, actually-ugly-yokel-trailer-trash making out and dry humping in public. Definitely ten Gabrielle Anwars for this week's makeout session.

Jesse was so great at his undercover job that I think next week he should go to the prison and apply for one of the jobs vacated by the corrupt guards and leave the show.

If by great you mean, he kept a low profile the entire episode, then yeah. This episode felt like it was written before Jesse came into the picture, and they threw him a few lines just to be like "yeah, he's still around." I think that's another reason why this episode was so good: less Jesse, more Simon.

I thought Jesse would be on that tape with Simon or something, then Michael would have to waste him. Oh well. Only a couple more episodes this summer, so Jesse's time is running out right? RIGHT?

I enjoyed the Miller product placement.

Oh hell yeah. The next episode should be awesome if they don't wimp out at the very end and have Jesse forgive Michael in some awful way.

I've been putting off watching last night's Burn Notice. These last two episodes are most certainly Jesse-centric, and I just don't wanna see his face no more... :( :( :(

I really hope he is the big bad for next season and not just for the finale. I like the idea of allowing the audience to see things from the villain's point of view. I think it's a great opportunity to really shake things up.

Dear Burn Notice writers,

Please have Jesse commit murder-suicide with Fiona, then start the next season with Michael being a total train wreck and trying to get over Fi. That would be the best shit ever.

Love,
Kenzo

I was hoping that he would pull the trigger, if Burn Notice was a good show like Lost or Supernatural he would have.
