Robot Jox is one of those bad movies that everybody who likes bad movies has already seen, so I figured it would have been a wash.

I just checked IMDB, Robot Jox was made by the same guy that made Re-Animator.

Anybody else see this god awful film. Or was this some sort of elaborate ruse on Liquid's part to torture me.

Barely anything makes sense at all. SOUTHLAND TALES makes more sense then this film. There are human characters filmed, and then there are human(?) and alien that are CGI. I guess it was my fault for thinking they would explain why one looks human and the other like a video game character but after a while that was the least of my worries. There are multiple sub plots that are never explained or fleshed out and it really fucks shit up at the end. Also the costume design and makeup are really good but the writing and direction are god awful. The main actress (Linda Hardy) is good looking but for some reason they dubbed over English instead of French until the end.

There is a Hammerhead Shark Headed Assassin with lobster claws. Also there are boobs, though they are with blue nips, but boobs are bewbs. All three Moviebox films have had boobs, lets try to keep the streak going people.

Also Liquid I hate you.

Ok, let's just step back and cut it out with the hyperbole. Southland Tales makes more sense than approximately NOTHING ON THE FACE OF THIS GOOD EARTH.

Also Liquid I hate you.

Then my work here is done!

Honestly, I'm gonna be watching this today at all costs. With all this "hype" I can only hope it sucks as bad as I'm told. There needs to be a word for negative hype. Somebody get to work on this.

See I don't trust your judgement now, You may love it now just out of spite. It's not fun like other shitty films, it's wanna be french pretentious bullshit posing in post apocalyptic cgi action film. It really is awful, and I'm going to get you back by picking something like THE FOUNTAIN (Even though I like it).

The fact that it's French negates its pretentiousness.

I'm 25 minutes into it and I have no clue what's going on in the story and it goes from live action to Resident Evil 2 cut scene quality CG. I dont know if I'll be able to make it to the end, this movie is one of the most unentertaining movies I've ever seen, but I'm only 25 minutes in so maybe it gets better.

Liquid I hope you get scurvy.

All the negative endorsement has not deterred me from watching this, but maybe instead of wasting Netflix I'll go the LiQuid route and torrent.

That's a lot of pressure. Also, should I just make the post like LiQuid did with his?

Hopefully I'll get this in the mail tomorrow and can see what everyone's talking about.

Yeah, make your thread whenever Govir.

Can't wait to watch this. The copy I torrented ended up being in French, so I'm trying a different one now.
