You can't be serious. Everyone knows Kopps is the best, it's not even up for debate.

U.S. President's don't go out of their way to get custard from Kopp's. Kopp's is good at coming up with kooky flavors, but most of the time they're just silly for the sake of being silly and not that great.

A. Chocolate? WTF?

2. They're all wrong. Every one of them.

d. Admittedly I haven't tried either in years, so after it gets over 80 again I'll hit em both up and do my own taste test.

I believe that actor was recently in an episode of Supernatural, he was LARPing as either Sam or Dean at a Supernatural convention in the episode.

just watched it, and I must say the movie was nothing special, I enjoyied all the one liners, and the cheese factor was top notch, but im hoping for more in the future :D

might also help if i grew up in the 80's and actually watched movies like this regularly....but whatever XD

also the alternate ending was:

Spoiler: show
instead of the dog walking up it cuts to a scene down the road where the dectetive is walking with a cigar in his mouth, hes unreconizably burned (thought oddly his clothes are in perfect condition) he falls forward and his head splits open, and 3 of the leech/worm things skamper off into a house.

thought I can see there will be no further conversation about the movie, the subject has moved onto icecream...

im not twelve! stop calling me twelve or ill talk about your mother.

but seriously i do feel as if im missing a big part of what this movie is simply because I did not grow up with movies like this, sure Ive seen the goonies and many other movies from the 80s that I still think are great, but this kind of unknown possibly awesomely bad movie is unfortunatly lost on me, not hating for the sake of hating, I didnt enjoy it much, the one liners made me smirk but everything else was a little bland, sorry?

It's not the fact that its an 80's movie that makes it awesome, it's the fact that it doesn't take itself seriously at all and is very self aware in addition to all the awesome stuff that happens in the movie.

Have you ever seen Monster Squad, Poob? It was the director's follow up to this. It's kind of in the same vein, but it stars younger kids, so it might be more your style.

Yeah! My grandma recorded that movie for me on a VHS off of HBO when I was a kid. On the tape it was right after a Royal Rumble! I watched both the movie and the Royal Rumble more times than I could count! I love how they kill the mummy by just unraveling his TP! Oh, and "Give me the amulet, YOU BITCH!" "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"

It was also one of the first movies to be self aware and poke fun at the genre.

You are probably right. Growing up in the 80s probably would have made the movie more enjoyable. Most movies that try to combine such diverse themes in one movie fail miserably. Night of the Creeps blended elements of sci-fi aliens, 50s horror, slasher, and zombie movies crams a love story, a coming of age story, a friendship story and spoofs other 80s horror movies successfully.

i'll try doing this with you guys, i think trying to get a netflix streamable and watching it as a xbox360 party might be fun (i've never done that).. all i know is that the starz content on netflix isn't allowed to be viewed by a party.

i dont think you need to all have netflix either right?

if this was already covered then tar and feather me or something.

Finally just watched this. Roped a roommate into seeing it, and he realized he had seen it as a child about halfway through. I enjoyed laughing at how stupid the film was, but I was hoping it would have been cornier. I'm seriously curious why nobody thought to duct tape their mouths until the cop at the very end.

Or do something crazy like not open your mouth. I guess it is the same logic (or lack there of) that prompts characters to explore dark corners of the building when an escaped maniac is on the loose and they can't find Bill who already checked on that strange noise and recently had sex.

There needs to be a shitty pornographic ripoff where the creeps invade your body through your naughty bits and make you love-zombies.

Yeah, I was using mine daily too and can't wait to get it back. It's cool that whether I'm using my laptster, or my Xbox for whatever, I can be watching something on the other at the same time with no fuss whatsoever.
