Hmmm I disagree with why this wasn’t great to listen to. Many interesting conversations, and everyone had something to say – I don’t understand the hate for Brock at all. But Ray Barnholt’s thinly veiled contempt for Adam Fitch oozed from every word he spoke – oftentimes spilling over into into open hostility! I really like Adam and Ray as contributors, but they’re obviously a poisonous combination when put together, and the tension running through this episode was not much fun at all.

This episode was very unpleasant to listen to. Next time Karen is away I humbly request you use a potato instead of a Brock. I feel a potato, with it’s starchy disposition and dirt-living, would have many more coherent, interesting things to say that a Brock. Also that Ray Barnholt sounds like he’s having a very boring stroke all the time. In conclusion, worst episode ever, except for that one where it was just Ryan and Ryan and Adam, which was so terrible it actually erased happy memories I had of completely unrelated things.

No, Ryan is dead wrong about the Simpsons because he lacks the critical capacity to understand what made the show great and recognize that those qualities just don’t exist anymore. That Neil Gaiman episode he loved so much was garbage.

Gotta say, Ryan is spot on about Simpsons.

The first couple seasons are terrible, the current seasons aren’t as good as they used to be, but it’s STILL one of the funniest shows on TV, and 99% if the people who claim it’s been shit for over a decade haven’t watched an episode in that long and don’t know wtf they’re talking about.
