The Geekbox: Episode 21

This week’s episode is a little bit early (or, well, back to being “on time” since I used to try to publish on Tuesdays) — we have an extra-special, somewhat time-sensitive contest that I want to roll out. It’s called “Win a Date with Fitch,” and if you are a single woman in the California Bay Area, you can enter by sending an e-mail to winadatewithfitch at geekbox.net (spaced out and unlinked to deter web spiders — I’m sure you can figure it out). The contest is pretty open to interpretation; pictures and personal profiles/likes/dislikes/etc. are welcome. We’ll be evaluating entrants for a chance to win a date with Geekbox co-host Andrew Fitch, and we’re hoping to have some candidates by next week. So please, Digg this podcast so more potentially lucky ladies can hear all the details!

The Geekbox: Episode 20

Wow, 20 episodes already — I suppose I never thought we’d last this long. In any case, this is Andrew Fitch’s last pre-European-vacation podcast, so he’s out next week (though we’ve got some fun guests lined up in his absence). Enjoy the show, and don’t forget to Digg!

The Geekbox: Episode 19

Here’s our latest — a particularly all-over-the-map extravaganza. I’m curious: Are you guys liking the “Geekbox RAW” format more, or less? Please leave feedback in this post’s talkback, or on the forums, as I’d definitely like to hear what you think.

The Geekbox: Episode 18

As you probably noticed, we didn’t record a podcast during E3. I’m going to kick myself over it forever, but I had literally no free time between appointments and insane writing hours. On the bright side, we recorded a longer-than-usual podcast this week to touch on some of the E3 highlights. Enjoy the show! Oh, and yes — by popular demand, raw is the new standard!

The Geekbox: Episode 17

Here’s this week’s episode, which will be our last time together before E3 Expo 2009! We’re planning to deliver a good show full of E3 insights next week, and hopefully with some special guests.

I also have a very cool announcement: As some of you may have heard via this press release, we’ve partnered with Hammersuit (in conjunction with our pals at Bitmob and Rebel FM) to form a loose podcasting network (that’s shorthand for “we’re all still publishing our content independently, but cooperating for a much-more-impressive packaged traffic number”). Exciting! I’ll be directing folks to a brief reader survey very soon, so please check back for that. And thank you, everyone, for making this a podcast worthy of such an alliance — I can’t do any of this without your support!
