Obviously it didn’t hit me as hard as it hit Adam, but I was truly saddened and feel like it is a big loss.

To have touched so many lives in some way, just hearing him even though he frequently wouldn’t divulge much at all or solidify any kind of opinion in any concrete form, just hearing him and the affect he had on his peers and friends always made me smile. He made a difference in my life, he brought moments of happiness and laughter, which is the best stuff in life.

I’ve followed all you guys since the 1up days, was sad when everyone got fired, and was sad that I would miss hearing like 10 different podcasts per week of people who really loved being around each other and talking to each other. That one of you is gone forever, taken too early, and hearing how it affects you all, I empathize and feel sad myself.

I only wish I can have as positive an effect on so many people in my own life. Andrew Fitch will be missed by many, and brought good to this world in his own special way.

Thanks for bringing closure and gathering to talk about it. As soon as I heard, I went looking for information about it, and in some way the goodbye podcast is helping me deal with my feelings. When Ryan Davis of Giant Bomb passed it was a big deal for me too, but was barely acknowledged by his closest friends. I understand that, and it’s perfectly valid to keep all of that personal, but you guys helped a lot of the people Andrew touched by doing this, and it sounds like it was therapeutic to have made this podcast as well so I hope it has also helped the geekbox crew, and other friends who may have lost touch with Andrew but still listened to this podcast.
