The Comedy Button: Episode 74

April Fools! We got you double this year, because we totally did it after April Fools’ Day, when you weren’t even expecting it. Once again, Anthony and I have given the rest of the Comedy Button guys a week off to get together with the old band — the cast of GFW Radio!

If you’re a new listener, kick back and stay a while once you’ve listened to this episode; you just might like our normally scheduled show, and stable support (by which I mean subscribe on iTunes, dammit) equals a higher chance for future GFW reunion shows. Why not check out our Best of 2012 episode after this, if you want to see what the Comedy Button is all about? And if you’re a regular weekly listener who doesn’t know what the heck is going on… well, give this group of knuckleheads a shot.

Oh, and here are the (VERY NSFW) images that Shawn Elliott references during the show: One, two, and three!

The Comedy Button — Episode 74 (2013-04-19)
It’s April, which means our second maybe-sort-of-annual GFW Radio reunion show, wherein six guys who used to make a PC gaming magazine (remember those?) and an associated podcast talk about… well, whatever it is we can think up. It’s like the Earth-2 version of the Comedy Button, for one week only! Starring Jeff Green, Robert Ashley, Shawn Elliott, Anthony Gallegos, Sean Molloy, and Ryan Scott.

Umm, the money you get from Kickstarter for a podcast is to pay for your time, idiot. Then you can work less and podcast more.

  2. Antinonymous says:

Fuck off Anthony! Calling them to wrap it up early. This is the GFW crew in a rare get-together and you wanted to end it early?! Fuck off, bitch! Also, where the hell is the link to the horse transformation crap or whatever it was that was mentioned?

  3. Darren Gladbone says:

Darren Gladstone was the fucking worst (even worse than Max Scoville). Long live the brodeo with Anthony edition.

  4. Robert Ashley says:

    Impeach ‘Hussein’ Obama.

  5. Henry Hatsworth says:

Fuck you, Geoff! We love Anthony Gallegos, and as far as most fans are concerned, this line-up IS the real brodeo.

  6. shauwn elliot says:

    gfw taint lickers never die

  7. CallMeSarge says:

Outstanding as always. Cast concerns about not being as sharp as they were are irrelevant in my opinion. I would rather have a slightly rusty brodeo than no brodeo at all. It’s great when you guys do this, i laughed my ass off on the train and people thought I was crazy – please continue this awesome tradition.

Now, in terms of breaking tradition – if Shawn wants to up the podcast shame factor, would having Max on help? Just spitballin here…

  8. Kyle says:

Hey Geoff, go fuck yourself. Showing some love for Anthony. <3

  9. Tom Gibson says:

I had the surprise spoiled for me last year, but this year I just downloaded the episode and took it to work with no knowledge of what it was. I was having a bad day, turned on The Comedy Button, and was VERY pleasantly surprised. Thank you for another fun episode.

  10. Gert says:

Jeff. Are you going to talk about the “White Wolf Incident”?

  11. Chris says:

Loved it. Brings back some awesome memories. I miss listening to the crew every week.

  12. Jason says:

Soooo good to hear you guys back again! Love the old 1up podcast!

  13. Geoff says:

Awesome! Next time switch out fatty Gallegos for Darren Gladstone and you’ll be golden.
