The Comedy Button — Episode 41 (2012-08-03)
This week’s episode is all about our first group trip to California’s Great America theme park, which included trashy people, some wild dancing, whorish preteens, a sweet airbrushed t-shirt, and garbage disguised as food. We also get an email from our saddest listener, hear the craziest story ever (courtesy of this week’s special guest), and get some Anthony-targeted love advice from one of our female listeners. Starring Scott Bromley, Brian Altano, Anthony Gallegos, Ryan Scott, and Max Scoville, with special guest Greg Tarascio.

Frida, we have filmed every episode we’ve recorded. We even put up a fully edited episode on But the biggest problem we encounter with these is the time commitment to editing the show together. We use 4 cameras at once and to splice them together the way we do takes time. Another thing to take into consideration is that our shows are usually edited. Meaning parts that happened during the end of the recording session might get moved to the start, middle, etc. This creates a continuity skip in the video. Some people might not think we need to edit the show, but I do. I like having the ability to be able to top load and back load the show with parts I feel are the best of the episode. This allows new and old listeners to get something funny or interesting from us right from the start. It hooks them early. It wouldn’t be fair for new listeners to be bored by a story that drones on without getting hooked by something fast and funny first, and we don’t want old listeners to get bored with us if they had 4 episodes in a row that started off slow. Has every episode been perfect? No, far from it, but I feel like the editing does help.

As for what we will be doing with the videos from the episodes we have filmed, I have gone through them and begun chipping away at all of them little by little. Will you see them in the future? Possibly…

Hey! I love your podcast, and was thinking if you’ve ever thought of filming while recording? It would be awesome to watch a video of you guys while you do your thing, instead of just listening 😛

  3. WangDangle says:

Greg was great. I was worried that the donater would be some neckbearded basement dweller.
Anyone else sense the tension between Greg and Max.

  4. FUCK says:

I wonder if they gave him his donation back? They should really be paying that guy to be on their show. RIP Crazy Uncle Joe
