Germany is indeed the most populous country in Europe (if you don't count Russia as part of Europe, that is). ;) And there are certain games that you can't buy here. You CAN buy Call of Duty, but you're right - there are no swastikas in it. My husband, who's German, loves playing Call of Duty: he's happy to shoot Nazis. I don't think most Germans really think about it all that much; if they like first-person shooters, it doesn't really matter what the subject of the game is, you know? There are certain instances where the use of swastikas is allowed, such as certain academic and satirical contexts, but video games don't fall into that category. Hellboy 1 and Command & Conquer are also available here (although I haven't seen the movie or played the game *embarrassed*, so I can't say whether they cut anything out).

Interestingly enough, though, you can't get most of the Mortal Kombat games here. Germany has restrictive laws when it comes to violent games, so games that are deemed too "graphic" or that have violence that's too realistic get banned. Of course, you can basically order anything from the UK and have it delivered here, so that's no problem if that's the sort of thing you're into.

Loved the podcast, love that it's raw. I saw Up with my little sister and absolutely loved it. I'm not normally a fan of sad movies, either.

I just want to point out another Burn Notice intro change. Sometime last season they changed Sam's intro line from "an old friend who informs on you to the FBI" to "an old friend who used to inform on you to the FBI"

The unit they were playing Ruse on was a Microsoft Surface, which runs on a special version of Vista. We have a dev unit in office, so I should see if Ubisoft is selling it at a discount rate.
